7-1500 is a 1987 Sutphen pumper. 7-1500 is the second apparatus to respond to all vehicle fires and hazardous materials calls and was designed to efficiently supply additional water to other apparatus at the scene of structure fires, which it responds last to. 7-1500 is capable of pumping 1500 gallons of water per minute and carries 750 gallons of water in its tank. 7-1500 also has a foam system carrying 30 gallons of foam concentrate which is used for fighting fires involving flammable and combustible liquids. 7-1500 is powered by a V-8 diesel engine and has an automatic transmission.
